Therapy for Athletes
Athlete Therapy
You can love your sport and still struggle with it.
For athletes, sports can be so much more than a game. They can provide community, purpose, confidence, identity, and a sense of belonging.
But when so much of your life is tied to your sport, things can get complicated.
An injury. A bad season. A loss. A coaching change. Losing playing time. Burnout. Graduation. Retirement.
Suddenly, you're not just wondering “What's next for my sport?” You're wondering “Who am I without it?”
As a former collegiate athlete, I understand how deeply sport can become part of your identity. I work with athletes who are navigating the mental and emotional side of competition, performance, identity, and transition.

Burnout
Understanding the difference between being tired and being emotionally drained from something you once loved.
Transitions
Navigating recruiting, college athletics, transferring, graduation, retirement, or any season where your relationship with your sport is changing.
My perspective as a former athlete
I know what it's like for sports to be a huge part of your identity—and what it can feel like when that identity gets shaken.
My own experience with collegiate volleyball, injuries, and transitions is one of the reasons working with athletes is so meaningful to me.
You don't have to choose between being a strong athlete and being a whole person. You get to be both.
Contact
You are more than what you accomplish.
If you're ready to work through the mental side of your sport and reconnect with who you are beyond it, I'd love to talk.
